Altar servers have the privilege and responsibility of assisting the priest in the sanctuary during the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and other liturgical celebrations. As an Altar Server, you can trace your roots to the order of acolyte, a ministry that once was reserved only for those who were going to be ordained priests!  Volunteers become eligible for this ministry after having received their first Holy Communion and must be active in the parish. Servers will began as an apprentice and serve "in choir" before joining the ranks as a full server beginning in 4th grade.
