These volunteers open the doors and greet parishioners with a smile and a wish of welcome as they arrive for Mass. The ushers assist in seating parishioners for liturgy and take up the collection. They also are charged with ringing the Call to the Faithful bell 5 minutes before Mass starts. The ushers provide "good order" as needed. 

During the pandemic they have the added role of helping maintain everyones safety in seeing that all are properly wearing masks and social distancing.
